SACRAMENTO, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of former Rep. Scott Taylor in Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “Virginia’s 2nd District is a must-win for conservatives to take back the House and rip the gavel out of Nancy Pelosi’s hands. There is no better man for the job than Scott Taylor, a veteran and Republican leader who has fought to protect the American Dream both abroad in the military and at home in elected office.
“A retired Navy SEAL injured in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Scott Taylor understands full well the importance of maintaining a strong military and taking care of our veterans. During his first term in Congress, he secured millions in federal funding for military construction and infrastructure in Virginia and passed legislation providing for accountability within the Veterans Administration.
“Scott knows that economic prosperity depends on the government getting out of the way of entrepreneurs and job creators. That is why he supported President Trump’s successful tax cuts, which created millions of jobs and put more money back into the hands of hardworking Virginia families. “Whether in the House of Delegates or in Congress, Scott Taylor has delivered results for Hampton Roads.
In contrast, liberal Congresswoman Elaine Luria has been busy engaging in partisan political posturing like Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment scam. She has little to show for her term in Congress and needs to be replaced with a conscientious public servant like Scott Taylor. While workers and small businesses suffer under a bungled government response to the Coronavirus, Luria hides from public debate.
