Tea Party Express Endorses Rep. Kevin Cramer for U.S. Senate in North Dakota

Sacramento, CA – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest grassroots Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of Rep. Kevin Cramer for U.S. Senate in North Dakota.

Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “We are excited to stand with President Trump in endorsing Congressman Kevin Cramer for the U.S. Senate. When Kevin attended our Tea Party Express bus tour rally in North Dakota, we were impressed with his record of public service and his commitment to reducing the size, cost, and intrusiveness of government. He has been a steadfast supporter of conservative policies in the House, and we know he’ll continue fighting for limited government and economic freedom in the Senate.

“Kevin Cramer has a distinguished career in public service in which he has worked tirelessly to lower taxes and promote economic growth. He served as both State Tourism Director and State Economic Development & Finance Director under Governor Ed Schafer. He was elected to two terms on the State Public Service Commission, where he helped ensure North Dakotans have some of the lowest utility rates in the nation. As a Member of Congress, Kevin supported President Trump’s successful tax cuts, which resulted in 90 percent of North Dakota taxpayers receiving more money in their paychecks and gave entrepreneurs the flexibility to create more jobs.

“Unfortunately, incumbent liberal Senator Heidi Heitkamp doesn’t believe that North Dakotans deserve lower taxes, good paying jobs, or a thriving economy. Although she was elected on the promise of cutting spending and balancing the federal budget, she has spent the past six years voting in lockstep with liberals like Chuck Schumer who are addicted to big government. She voted against the tax cuts, against cutting wasteful spending, and against repealing Obamacare and replacing it with a less expensive and fairer solution. We encourage North Dakotans to reject her broken promises in November and send Kevin Cramer to Washington to fulfill them in the United States Senate,” Russo concluded.
