Tea Party Express Endorses the Rep. Graves, Meadows, Jordan Plan

“Stability, Security and Fairness Resolution”

Sacramento, CA – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, announced its support for the plan from Representatives Tom Graves, Mark Meadows, and Jim Jordan, called the “Stability, Security and Fairness Resolution,” which defunds and delays Obamacare until 2015.

Tea Party Express Chairman Amy Kremer said, “This legislation is a responsible solution to the stream of bad news coming from the enactment of Obamacare. Over the summer recess, Americans across the country took to town halls and press conferences to voice their displeasure with Obamacare and its higher healthcare costs and broken promises. Graves and the legislation’s 42 co-sponsors are answering the public’s call with a straightforward proposal that defunds and delays Obamacare, while funding all other parts of the government. We applaud Graves and his fellow co-sponsors for their bold leadership.”

“We are calling for both Republicans and Democrats to join Congressman Graves and his co-sponsors in supporting this critical piece of legislation. The time to act is now because we are becoming aware every day that the flaws in Obamacare far outweigh any of the benefits. We ask that the House and Senate act responsibly in delaying any further implementation of Obamacare and avoid a shutdown of the federal government. Passing the ‘Stability, Security and Fairness Resolution’ is an important step to eliminate the negative consequences of President Obama’s partisan healthcare plan,” Kremer concluded.
