Tea Party Express Announces “Restoring the American Dream” – 6th National Bus Tour

April 27th – May 7th

Sacramento, CA – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is announcing its upcoming “Restoring the American Dream” national bus tour that will begin in Pennsylvania on April 27th and end in Texas on May 7th. This will be the organization’s 6th national bus tour.

Chairman Amy Kremer of the Tea Party Express said, “We are so excited to launch our 6th national bus tour on April 27th, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The ‘Restoring the American Dream’ tour will rally tea party activists from across the country to confront the failed leadership and policies of President Obama and the Democrat-controlled Senate.

“It is important in 2012 for the Tea Party movement to provide a contrast to the extreme big-government agenda coming out of Washington. The American Dream is being tarnished by unsustainable debt, a regulatory environment that kills job growth, and tax rates that drive investors and job creators overseas. This bus tour will focus on the heartland of America and will feature speakers and entertainers committed to reducing the size, cost, and intrusiveness of the federal government,” Kremer concluded.

Tea Party Express is determined to remove the gavel from Harry Reid’s hand by electing a conservative majority to the upper chamber in November. The organization has already endorsed five United States Senate candidates for the 2012 election cycle: Attorney General Jon Bruning in Nebraska, State Treasurer Richard Mourdock in Indiana, former Solicitor General Ted Cruz in Texas, State Treasurer Josh Mandel in Ohio, and former State Treasurer Sarah Steelman in Missouri.

The “Restoring the American Dream” bus tour will make rally stops in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and Texas.
