Tea Party Express to Endorse Texas US Senate Candidate
Dallas, TX – Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest tea party political action committee, is holding a series of press conferences throughout Texas on Wednesday January 25th and Thursday January 26th in which the organization will make its third U.S. Senate endorsement.
Sal Russo, Chief Strategist of the Tea Party Express, said, “One of our main focuses this year is to take control of the Senate with a conservative chamber. After watching the race in Texas shape up, we feel we are ready to make an endorsement. On Wednesday and Thursday we will be joined by local Tea Party activists to show our support for the strongest Tea Party conservative in the race.”
The Tea Party Express is responsible for 96% of all Tea Party PAC money spent in 2010 and 99% of all Tea Party PAC money going to winning candidates according to OpenSecrets.
The Tea Party Express has already endorsed Jon Bruning in Nebraska and Richard Mourdock in Indiana and plans to continue a series of endorsements over the next few months.
